Andrew Young is a native of Bloomington, IN and graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Outdoor Rec and Parks Administration. Experiential education and learning through doing has been a lifelong passion. While working in a camp setting for the beginning of his career, Andy has since moved on to Youth Development in a larger sense.
Currently, he is the Associate Director at Foundation For Youth which manages many local and national non-profits under his guidance. He has a role in the strategies and planning for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, The Boy’s and Girl’s Club, Columbus Youth Camp, Communities That Care, SAFE Place, and a variety of other community-based initiatives.
He currently lives in Indianapolis, IN with his wife and three daughters, is a cartoonist and game designer, and enjoys a good fireside chat.
