Britta Jerdee

During my time at The University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, a spark of passion for child and youth care was ignited when I began volunteering as a mentor for an after school leadership program. After earning my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy I became a Teen Leadership Coordinator and have since held many positions including; Summer Camp Instructor, After School Specialist, Lead Teacher, and more.

I began my current position at Neu-Life Community Development: Youth Work Innovation Center as a Public Allies – Milwaukee Fellow, where I cultivated a strong dedication to service, a drive for continuous learning, and an everlasting commitment to building a just and equitable society.

I now hold a dynamic role, focused on evidence-based curriculum and asset building of staff, site programs and operations. I am proud to be a part of the Neu-Life team and family, where I have the privilege to guide young people to their ‘aha’ moment.
