Erin Shanayda is the Training Director at the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis. She is a proud Certified Youth Care Practitioner and has been working with youth for 10 years. Erin has served in many capacities in the youth field including Before and After School Site Director, Summer Day Camp Coordinator, and Program Director of Before and After School programming. Like many, Erin came into youth work by accident and ended up finding her path. Studying and graduating with a degree in Stage Management from Ball State University prepared Erin for the fast-paced and often unpredictable world of youth work. In her current role as Training Director, Erin loves the opportunity to connect with staff, encourage them in their professional pursuits and support them so they can better serve our youth.
