Katie Carter

Katie Carter is the Director of Research, Education, and Public Policy at National Safe Place Network, where she coordinates training opportunities and services for member agencies. She holds a Masters of Public Affairs from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs and spent five years at a state-level youth advocacy organization, leading efforts on improving child health and family economic security issues. She is happy to now be working with youth and family service agencies across the country, connecting them to the resources they need to serve the young people in their care
