Simone has had the pleasure of training and developing people for the past 15 years in various types of youth-serving arenas. It brings her great delight to watch people grow and succeed in their chosen careers, and for teams to succeed and accomplish the goals and mission set by their company.
She is currently the Professional Development Manager of At Your School, Inc. (AYS) with the primary role of overseeing professional development opportunities, new employee onboarding, and maintaining training compliance.
She is originally from St. Andrew, Jamaica where she lived until she was 15 years old before moving to New York City. Upon completion of high school, she attended Franklin College where she obtained a BS in Psychology. 10 years after leaving Franklin, she was able to obtain an MS in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. While at Franklin, she met her husband and has been married for 18 years resulting in two children and a cat.
