Ray Hoskins worked in a variety of human services roles over the past 40 years. He has been a prevention specialist, counselor, administrator, trainer, speaker, and consultant to a wide range or organizations. He has been a Senior Certified Trainer for both the Casey Life Skills Tools and the Casey Foster Family Assessments. He has also been a foster parent.
Ray served as the Director of Staff Development for two child welfare agencies. Prior to, and since, he has provided human services consulting and training to states, municipalities, foundations, and nonprofit organizations. He is an approved Youth ThriveTM and Child & Youth Care: Foundations trainer.
In these roles, Ray has worked with Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, Workforce Development, Schools, and other systems to improve the success of vulnerable youth around the United States. He has helped develop nationally recognized tools for youth aging out of foster care and in juvenile justice, and has created trauma informed approaches to working with older youth.
